Life has not been so pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat began working there. Beatrice desperately wants a vacation – she just needs to convince her best friend, Eaddy Mae, to stop praying and go with her. The newest resident, Imogene, is suddenly losing her memory while Maude is obsessed with her favorite soap opera and planning her own funeral. A comical mystery unfolds as the gals try to outsmart evil Nurse Pat and figure out what exactly IS that mysterious pill and why so many residents have been moved to “the dark side.” Hilarity ensues as Imogene goes undercover and Maude enters the Miss Magnolia Senior Citizen Pageant to throw Nurse Pat off their trail. If they can solve the mystery, they may get their vacation after all. Rated PG-13.
